Extended Snippet. How to create?
So you’ve launched your own website. Optimized it for SEO and attract a lot of traffic. But you are still not in the first positions of Google and in general the traffic is low.

1. What are rich snippets?
Advanced snippets (advanced results) are Google search results that display additional site data (such as ratings or reviews).

The second snippet contains more
nformation than the first. That is why it is called extended. When you add rich snippets to information on your site, search engines are more likely to report that information to searchers.
What advanced snippets do:
enable search engines to provide users with specific and relevant results;
users see relevant information (for example, reviews) faster;
can increase the number of clicks on your link in search. Enhanced snippets also reduce bounce rates and increase conversion rates. Increasing the amount of information in search results leads to a better understanding of what users will get when they go to your site.

2. How do rich snippets affect SEO?
Google says that rich snippets are not a ranking factor. But research shows that users are more likely to click on advanced results than regular results.
Because rich snippets display more content on a page, it can help users determine if a page matches their search. Enhanced snippets stand out from the regular search results on a page. They are noticeable.
In the long run, enhanced snippets will also affect your site’s ranking. As more users click on your result, Google notices that people are favoring your page over others. Advanced vs. Featured Snippet: What’s the Difference?
Enhanced Snippets enhance existing search results, and Featured Snippets is a result that appears above the regular SERP results.

3. Types of advanced snippets
The most common types of advanced snippets are:
fragment of the review;
recipe fragment;
musical fragment;
fragment of product markup;
a fragment of the film;
fragment of events.

A fragment of the review
The review fragment shows the rating under the description and the number of reviews.

A musical fragment
The music fragment shows additional information about the song or album: track or album length, album producers, recording studio, genre.
This is important information for ecommerce projects — instead of clicking on your ads in Google Shopping, the user will see all the data in your extended snippet (of course, if the ad and delivery appear on the first page of Google).

A fragment of the film gives information about the release date of the film, genre, director, rating, number of votes.
Structured data consists of 2 components:
